IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Admission 2021 invites applications to M.Tech. programmes in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering for the year 2021-2022. The M.Tech. the curriculum at IIT Gandhinagar has been designed to be highly creative with a focus on interdisciplinary skills and high-quality thesis work. IIT Gandhinagar also offers the option of a post-graduate diploma in engineering (PGDIIT), which is a one year programme designed to be an intensive course-work based programme with no thesis requirements.

Eligibility: IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Admission 2021

• Minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. /B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST)
• Candidates who have a valid GATE score (at the time of interview/written test) are eligible to apply for M.Tech. GATE is not required for application to M.Tech. on a part-time basis or for the PGDIIT programme.
• B.Tech. graduates from the IITs with CGPA/CPI of 8.0 or above (on the scale of 10) would be eligible to admission without having to appear in GATE

The eligibility criteria mentioned above is minimum and the disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories would be eligible for relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.

Financial Support

Eligible candidates admitted to full-time M.Tech. the programme will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs.12,400/-. The students in PGDIIT/ M.Tech. on Part time basis will not receive any stipend/scholarship.

Travel Scholarships

Institute encourages M.Tech. students to present their research work at national and international conferences and provides travel scholarships of up to Rs. 60000/- to such students.

Admission Procedure: IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Admission 2021

Admission is generally offered on the basis of a written test and interview. The Institute will invite a limited number of applicants for a written test and interview based on the academic records and/or GATE score. The Institute reserves the right to use its own judgment while determining the candidate’s level of competency based on the available information. The final selection will be based on all of the above, viz., academic records, GATE score, written test and interview. The Institute may also exercise the option of offering admission to a few outstanding candidates based on academic record and/or GATE, without calling them for written test and interview.

The written test is generally based on the topics related to general aptitude (logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, etc.), engineering mathematics, and basic courses in various disciplines up to a 3rd year of the undergraduate programme. The candidates who do not qualify in the written test need not appear for the interview. The reserved category candidates will be given due relaxation in cutoff marks as per the norms. Considering the covid-19 scenario, interview and written test (if any) will happen via online platform.

IIT Madras MTech Admission 2021. Its four-semester M.Tech. Programmes in various Disciplines and Programmes by different departments of the institute are based on the credit system and provide a student with a wide choice of courses. Each Programme comprises many core and elective courses and project work. These Programmes, along with the number of seats available, are indicated below

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance in the form of Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) at the rate of Rs.12,400/- p.m. (tenable for a maximum period of 24 months) will be awarded to Indian Nationals doing the M.Tech. HTTA students are required to assist the department for 8 hours of work per week related to academic activities of the department such as laboratory demonstration, tutorials, evaluation of assignments, test papers, seminars, research projects, etc.

FOR GATE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Candidates qualified in GATE 2019, GATE 2020 or GATE 2021 and satisfying any one of the following:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/ Government
2. Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Mathematics/ Physics related subjects from educational Institutions approved by UGC/ Government
3. Degrees obtained through Distance Education/ Correspondence Mode for the qualifying degree. The Departments will follow the suitability test/ interview procedure for screening in such cases.
4. Candidates yet to appear or have appeared in the final examination for the qualifying degree and whose results are likely to be declared by July 15, 2021.

FOR IIT GRADUATES

IIT GATE Cut off for M.Tech Admission

NITIE Mumbai runs two Post Graduate Diploma courses for Engineers in which admission is based on GATE score plus GD/PI. It is one of the best’s institutions for pursuing PG in the field of Industrial Engineering. On the Basis of average package placement of this institute, it is even better than most of the IIT’s. NITIE Admission 2021 application procedure started from 02/01/2021.

NITIE Mumbai has three diploma courses:

NITIE Admission 2021 Eligibility

Engineering/Technology graduates in any branch with aggregate* 60% marks (relaxation of 5% in case of SC/ST/PwD (persons with disabilities) candidates). Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria and submit their result by September 30, 2021. Their admission will stand cancelled in case they fail to meet the aforementioned requirements.

NITIE Admission 2021 Selection Process

• Admission will be based on online Personal Interview (PI) with appropriate weightage to GATE scores academic performance and relevant experience of reputed Industrial Organization/Academic institution. Shortlisted international candidates should attend PIs along with Indian students.
• Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC-NC (non-creamy) and PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
• Teaching Assistantships are available to eligible candidates as per rules

Application Fee

Fees for each programme is Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries and USD 50 for International students, plus bank charges as applicable. The fee can be paid online.

Program Fee for PGDIE is approx. 12 lakhs and PGDSM is approx. 14 lakhs (as per 2019-2021 fee structure)

IISc Bangalore offers Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Design (M.Des) and Master of Management (M.Mgt). IISc Bangalore admits about 450 students every year for its course programmes. The number includes about 50 sponsored applicants from the Defense Services, Defense Research, and Development Organization, Indian Space Research Organization, BARC, NAL, CPRI, KSRTC, BMTC, PWD and BDA, faculty members from engineering colleges under the Quality Improvement Programmes.

Notes:

• For M.Tech and M.Des programmes applicant can choose to apply for up to a maximum of 5 disciplines . Applicants with qualification in BE / B Tech or an equivalent degree must have qualified and hold valid GATE score card as on 2^nd August 2021.

Selection Procedure for IISc Bangalore MTech Admission 2021

M.Des Programme

After screening based on the GATE / CEED score, an online written test and interview will be conducted by the department. Selection Weightage will be 70% for GATE/CEED score and 30% for the written test/interview.

How to Apply for IISc Bangalore M.Tech Admission 2021

“The applicants applying for the Regular M.Tech/MDES (through GATE) Programme must register themselves on COAP 2021 portal, and update their COAP registration number at the IISc admission portal.”

Step 1: Register with your e-mail (preferably Gmail) address and a password to start the online application process by creating a new user account.  (Link is given below). Email ID used to register cannot be changed later.

Step 2: Log in to the website to fill the application form.

1. Basis of Selection for AdmissionAdmission will be made on the basis of either Normalized GATE marks only or Normalized GATE marks and Interview/Written Test. For admission to PG programmes 2015 candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only by accessing Click here from March 12, 2015 to on or before April 09, 2015. The application process is completed only when a print out of the filled ONLINE application with the candidate’s signature and a good quality photo affixed in the appropriate places is sent to the Chairman, PG Admissions office, IIT Roorkee, Roorkee along with challan form and necessary documents on or before April 16, 2015.

Step 2: Deposit of Fee on next working day after finalize the online application.

a) Deposit the above fee in any branch of State Bank of India throughout the country on or before the last date i.e. April 09, 2015. (Bank Service Charges of Rs. 40/- is extra) on downloaded bank challan form alongwith completed application form.

b) Bank will retain a copy and will return two copies to you. Out of these two copies, retain the Candidate’s copy with you and attach the IITR’s copy with the application form.

Step 3: Paste your recent photograph (3.5 cm X 3.5 cm) in the designated place. Sign at the designated place.

Step 4: Post/Submission

Before posting your application form, make sure that, in addition to the other relevant attachments as indicated below:

1. Xerox copy/Downloaded copy of GATE Score Card
2. Copy of the degree certificate or provisional certificate if they have passed their qualifying degree.
